    Thanks a lot @asaikarthikeya and one more thing i would like to know can i participate in fossasia's internship program ?
    Anisha_Singh0118
    @AnishaSingh0118
    But it is mentioned in the form that for this program they particularly looking for developers who are already active in the community or have made prior contributions, but this is the first time i will contribute.
    And also i dont have GSoC proposal can i still participate?
    Kapil Chauhan
    @kapilchauhan8102
    @AnishaSingh0118 For getting internship in fossasia you must be a active developer(mainly) having good knowledge of open source contribution or code heat winner (sometime). Also either you have or haven't GSoC proposal it doesn't matter until you are a active developer and good in contribution. I advice you to start contributing as soon as and contribute daily without skipping if you want internship And also you can register for codeheat it will help you further if you are a winner.
    Ishan Mishra
    @legitishan
    Hey @kapilchauhan8102 , I'm good with python, Where would you recommend I start? Thank you :)
    Kapil Chauhan

    For application of Fossasia's internship program?
    Areeb Jamal

    Tribute to Areeb Sir!
    Mario Behling
    @mariobehling
    Dear @/all today we received the very sad news that our dear friend @iamareebjamal has passed away. We are very disturbed by Areebs sudden death. In the last few years Areeb became like the beating heart of FOSSASIA. He kept everything running and developed all kinds of amazing services and tools. We would not be where we are today without him. He was an amazing person and brilliant developer. I worked and communicated with Areeb nearly every day and I also had the chance to meet him in person in India. The last time we got together in Delhi when we organized the OpenTechSummit mini event in Delhi. He loved to share his knowledge with anyone and expected even nothing in return. He was a modest and humble person. He deserved to live a long live and make his dreams come true. Areeb had big plans and we had discussed to get him to Singapore to run the FOSSASIA development from there. An amazing future was in front of him. We will be sharing more about Areeb on our channels. Please post your thoughts and condolences on the web and provide support to each other in these difficulties times. Be safe and healthy!

    Got this devastating news yesterday afternoon, got totally broken. My eyes are still filled. Mind is not working. Not able to do any activity. Only thinking about Areeb sir. Areeb sir was not only my senior. He was my only favourite teacher and a best friend. From the day I got intern at fossasia there was not a single day when we didn't call each other. We talked hours daily. He was the best teacher. He teaches me everything. He teaches me how to think and how to code. He not only helped me in fossasia project but He helped me in my everything like college stuffs, project work, what to do, how to do….. everything.. In a very few time we came so close. I always talk about him. All my family members, friends and all my surroundings know him as I chant his name all the time. From the time Areeb sir was hospitalised i was praying for his recovery. But yesterday afternoon when i got this news, i got exhausted. My eyes started flowing from that time. My hometown is aligarh same as areeb sir. We promise each other that whenever I return aligarh after my semester exams, we will meet in aligarh. But it is my bad luck that I don't get this opportunity. He was a great man. It is still unacceptable for me that he is no more. My eyes are still checking my whatsapp for areeb sir message when he messages “hi sachin, let talk on jitsi” and we will have a meeting. I always messaged him “Hi sir, can we have a short call” but we never have short calls, we always talked many hours. He always taught me new things. Whenever i stuck somewhere i call areeb sir. He was “Genie” for me, he give solutions to all my problems. Areeb sir i know you are not here but you will always be in my heart. You taught me a lot. You will always be in there in the knowledge which you gave me. There will always be your presence in my work. Rest in peace areeb sir. Sir you are irreplaceable. Missing you sir. Missing you so badly. i am Having so many thoughts about him but i am not having words. I am not able to control my emotions. Just want to wish I could get my Areeb sir back.

    @sachinchauhan2889 :'( I'm sorry Sachin, you also need to take care and try to stay safe. Do you think you could also share this message on Youtube comment section, his parents might be able to read it later on and see how much he meant to us.

    @sachinchauhan2889 Thank you for sharing. It is a real support to know that you feel the same way as me.

    Areeb sir was a man of heart, the modest, never expected a thing in return from anyone. He was the best I have ever known. He is the best I have ever known. I really don't know what to do without him. Whenever i have written some code, I always was kind of carefree, because I knew the best man is watching over my code. You were not allowed to go sir, you had your unfinished work. I miss you and hope wherever you go next you feel peace. Wherever you go next I hope you know that we love you. See you in another life sir.

    My github notification mails, are filled with Areeb's PR messages and @maze-runnar 's PR messages.
    I joined FossAsia when my dev-environment was Windows. That time, we had only 1000 students on gitter.

    Its a huge loss. More power to you Mario and FossAsia team

    PS.
    Hope FOSSASIA, could get Areeb in Singapore as early as possible.
    Things would have been different, maybe he would be there with us, on gitter and mentoring us... :(

    Areeb was one of the most active contributors in India https://commits.top/india_public.html. India should take care especially of its most talented young people, but it did not and Areeb is now no longer with us.
