There isnt any written in the requirements file...is it specified in your version of the requirements file
?

this fixed it: sudo pip install --upgrade -r requirements.txt
the Six module that I had was old

@aditya1702 what I am saying is that many modues have ==X.Y.Z in requirements.txt, but not all. It can create some problems

@leto this was a test for just the two view functions...we will also have to create tests for each and every view function, right?

looks like I broke travis, because it uses "nosetests" but I was testing with unittest

Think I fixed it. I also added Python 3.5 to travis to see what happens. Get some popcorn
