We are saving the logical image first. But we are saving it directly to s3. The problem I am facing is I am unable to resize the images from S3. Had it been saved locally, then there was no problem.
Now maybe I can save the image locally temporarily, resize, save it back to S3 and then delete the local copy.. But I felt it would be computation heavy.. So didn't try...
Does anyone know of anything better to do?

You will need to save it locally anyway to process it. So I think it's better to save in a temp folder. Upload then delete.

hmmm.....
Is there no way we can resize it during the upload itself?
I was thinking maybe we can resize using js, store it in a hidden input field and then upload that as well..

Umm no... You will need the entire file somewhere to resize... Can't do it on the fly while uploading...

That would put too much load on the client side... Not all PCs can handle a lot of image manipulation with javascript

tht's true as well..
Then I will try out saving it in a temp folder and then using PIL..

@shivamMg Could you please add some more screenshots of the UI to your blog post? As this is about the user interface - the would be nice to see more of the UI.
