Hi Everyone, I'm going to help by writing some documents. I presume these docs are to go in the docs folder in markdown format. Correct?

Thank you
Maybe this is a discussion for another day but can you tell me a bit about the history of the project? What was the motivation?

The motivation behind the project was to create an open source event organizing platform, that not only lets you create events and sessions but provides you with all features you can think of... From calendar like scheduler to ical exports which can then be used with any calendar applications available these days, custom forms, payment gateways, a completely customisable admin panel, various access level for different users to allow good sandboxing at different levels, and then there is also the API support, as soon as you create an event, you can access the information through REST API calls which you can then use in your webapps and mobile apps...
Besides we also integrate this with our open-event-webapp and open-event-android project... Though not necessary but if used together these 3 repos can solve almost all online problems of an event organizer. He/she will have a complete dashboard panel, a static frontend website for public and also an android app just by few form fill ups and button clicks.
That was the idea. To make life easier for event organizers as much as we can.
I hope that gives you a brief idea about the project and our motivation.
