If we go with the third option, there is no need for different schemas of DiscountCodeSchemaEvent and DiscountCodeSchemaTicket, just DiscountCodeSchemaPublic is enough?

Yes, temporarily. Later we have to refactor this into two endpoints. I would suggest one more thing though. Please create an issue in the flask-rest-jsonapi issue tracker and ask the library developers if they know a way to decide the schema before the post is made. Tell them that you are aware that you can add a method decide_schema in the library to do it but you want to make our software self complete. Also tell them that before_post and before_create_object doesn't work and you've tried it already.

Let's wait for a day, if we find something then good otherwise we can go ahead with what we discussed.

@Masquerade0097 Quick question: The order_notes that you added is supposed to be added by the attendees or by the event organizer or both ?

@srv-twry The Order Notes are supposed to be added by the Event Organizer to a particular order.

Alright, thanks.
Have you added a safety check to ensure that the buyer cannot add order notes to it ?
If not, please create an issue and raise an error if the buyer tries to add order notes to an order.

@srv-twry Ok, I haven't added the check yet but I'll create the issue for it.

Can anyone guide me on testing the endpoint implemented in fossasia/open-event-server#4985 ? I'm getting a 404 error when I POST to it.
Also, I have created a Sendgrid key to send emails but when I test it, I don't receive any emails although Sendgrid's web dashboard says it's been delivered. Any idea why?
