We appreciate your involved and are very happy how you are moving the project forward :-)

Apart from solving issues, we see that you have identified issues in the project yourself as well. Good job!

It would also be great if you could have a look on our previous issues labeled "Do Next" that have a priority too. Some of these issues involve changes in the server, which is written in Java, but they don't all involve advanced knowledge and some could be solved relatively easily with a bit of background research. The link to these issues is here: https://github.com/fossasia/susi.ai/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%22Priority%3A+Do+Next%22 Keep it up!

Thank you @mariobehling for the mention. Yes, definitely I will look into these issues and fix them as soon as possible :)
@mariobehling I just to know how to apply for Google Code-In Mentor?

@mariobehling
@plxity People who have made substantial work in a FOSSASIA project during a program or developers who are regularly active in FOSSASIA projects and contribute actual code can be mentors in GCI. So, now is a good time to contribute code and solve issues, if you want to get on board.

Thank you @mariobehling for the response :)
I have been contributing to Fossasia projects from past one year. I look forward to work on more issues and solve bugs :)

@hyPnOtiC-d00g what version of the Python VLC module do you use? It seems that it is too old.
@kumuditha-udayanga concerning the snowboy error, did you run the install-requisites script? And did it succeed? What does pip3 show snowboy say?
hyPnOtiC-d00g

Should i try using python3?cuz I've both 2.7 & 3.7.

I am doing the learn how to make a susi.ai bot assignment from google code in and I have a working bot, I just do not know what you mean by you want the interaction show as a gif, do you just mean I should take a video of me talking to the bot convert it to a gif?
This is the assignment: https://codein.withgoogle.com/dashboard/task-instances/5029893255987200/

@norbusan this is the output of pip3 show snowboy

@kumuditha-udayanga ahh, now I see in the above messages the error
 libcblas.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
@kumuditha-udayanga Can you please install libatlas3-base via sudo apt-get install libatlas3-base. I will fix the installation scripts!
Norbert Preining
@norbusan

@kumuditha-udayanga Another better idea: Can you try the following:

wget https://www.preining.info/snowboy-1.3.0-cp37-cp37m-linux_x86_64.whl
sudo pip3 install -U snowboy-1.3.0-cp37-cp37m-linux_x86_64.whl

I have rebuild snowboy with most library dependencies removed. Hope that helps.

But yes, that doesn't help because you NEED libcblas in any case ...
Not sure where it is on your system, what distribution are you running?
Kumuditha Udayanga Karunarathna
@kumuditha-udayanga
@norbusan It worked thank you!
Norbert Preining
@norbusan
Great, I have uploaded that to the main repo at gemfury, so new installs should work.
But even with that, I guess susi will react too quckly to hotwords, at least in my eperience.
