@pranavkarthik10 Commented on the task. The current implementation does something on the similar lines. But the main goal of the task was to hook it to the CI system and deploy a new build on every deployment. So, hooking it with CI is a must for this task.
@Orbiter Server is throwing 500 due to NPE. Can to redeploy it manually once?

@akshatnitd The custom script is a CI service which automatically deploys on every new merged PR or commit

@akshatnitd Task https://codein.withgoogle.com/dashboard/task-instances/6057034517053440/ has all the details for CI automated deployment implementation and @norbusan / @hpdang had already taken a look on logs and provided details and requested for scripts and documentation. So in my final comment , I have provided everything. Please review and accept. Thanks!

Hi, set up auto deploys for SUSI.AI here which is connected to my fork of the susi_server repo as I dont have admin access to Fossasia.This deploy was made using heroku auto deploy.
May I know if this is what was expected for this or something else is expected.

i tried signing up to susi.ai but it shows "Email already exist try forgot password" but before now i never signed up to it
Norbert Preining
@norbusan

@Orbiter I have added this to README.rst:

+
+There are two branches targetting deployment, "dev-dist" and "stable-dist".
+The former is intended to be used in conjunction with the development versions
+of "susi_linux", while the later with the stable (from the "master" branch).
+These two branches are currently updated manually from "susi_server_binary_latest.tar.gz"
+(see below), but future integration will update "dev-dist" regularly.
+

I would like to see the dev-dist branch updated automatically (either on each commit on the development branch, or via the hourly deployment), and the stable-dist should either be build from the master branch, or updated manually when we think the server has a stable status. I am keeping stable-dist for now on the pre-JsonTray status for safety, and the stable-dev contains the latest version.

I adjust susi_installer to follow this pattern, that is, if the installer runs from the master branch, it will use stable-dist from susi_server, and if it runs from development branch, it will use dev-dist from susi_server - similar to using master/development branches from susi_linux, susi_python depending on the starting point.

The updates to the two *-dist branches are always git commit -a --amend so that there is only one commit in the -dist branches, and one need to git push --force origin dev-dist etc. This keeps the repository size stable.

Hope that all helps to get a stable product with proper development possibilities.

hi, I'd like to try out susi on my own server, but compiling the default branch (development) results in a failed test. What branch is considered "stable"? I'm trying master next
...ok so master fails with a missing dependency (de.schildbach.pte)
