ok, I thought that was your code!
SSDoc is a program, not a module.
You need to load modules from spheres, sphere-opengl, sphere-cairo or sphere-sdl2
and you can't change the path, it must be (load (spheres/core base)), not (load (tspheres/core base))
If you want to make your own modules, look at how any module in spheres is built (with separated .sld and .scm)

I was using "../spheres/" for core.. etc (all the stuff that came with Spheres), and I was using "../tpspheres/" for third-party spheres, (of which I thought ssdoc was one). This would be okay right? If the path is added to the .gambini for a library direction.
I was hoping to have Spheres/, tpspheres/, and myspheres/ as dirs to keep them separate.

Yes, you can have multiple folders. But notice that inside spheres/, there is another spheres/, which is then used as path for (spheres/core base). If you want (tspheres/ssdoc ssdoc) you need a folder <anything-added-to-paths>/tspheres/ssdoc/ssdoc.sld, and that sld file must define a library with the same name (tspheres/ssdoc ssdoc)

I see got it, I think I'll leave the "spheres/<...>" and just organize it one level up as you said.
