Hi guys, just found out about you on Twitter today - looks really nice. Would be happy to see you add Frame to blockchain-comparison.com by filling in this form https://airtable.com/shrCkYebaTwu8JUPK Cheers, Julian

@borovan
hi, anybody know why it can see my ledger, but as soon as I try to sign something I get ERROR: No signer found for this account
ive removed metamask, rebooted, tried two different browsers

Hey @borovan, the easiest way to look into this for you is you have you send us your logs. You can email them to jordan@frame.sh
By default, Frame writes logs to the following locations:
on Linux: ~/.config/Frame/logs/main.log
on macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Frame/main.log
on Windows: %USER%\AppData\Roaming\Frame\logs\main.log
Happy to dig into this and figure out what is going on!
Alex
@alexgausman
Hey Jordan, I'm going to email my logs to you as well because I appear to be having a similar problem.
Alex
@alexgausman
Actually, nvm. Sry you can ignore my email. I rebooted and seems to be a frontend problem.

Hey guys. Rather than constantly Tweeting, I thought it best to join your chat
I'm getting an 'Error, no signer found for this account'
My Ledger is connected and being read by Frame
but can't push the tx to it

Hey @intocryptoast_twitter! What platform are you on and how often are you seeing this? There are a number of reasons a Ledger can become unavailable, either from going to sleep or being claimed by another application like Ledger Live.
Checking those possibilities and reconnecting the device is the best first step but if you're still hitting this issue, please send us your logs and we will dig into it!
You can email them to jordan@frame.sh -- by default, Frame writes logs to the following locations:

on macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Frame/main.log
on Windows: %USER%\AppData\Roaming\Frame\logs\main.log

Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting! We want our Ledger integration to be the best out there so feedback like this helps us find and fix discrepancies across different platforms.

Sorry, been out for the day. Ledger was awake and nothing else should be using it.. hmm aside from connecting Ledger straight to Curve.fi when the MM button wasnt working to connect
Nope. Left Curve and still same issue. Lemme restart Brave

Restarted Brave. Tried 2 different dapps and same issue
Tried Chrome. Same issue.
Metamask is disabled, so shouldnt be any interference with anything
Ledger has latest firmware

@intocryptoast_twitter If possible, please try to reproduce the error and then send your log file to jordan@frame.sh -- we'll figure out what's going on!

Yo @intocryptoast_twitter funny to see you here :P — I was having similar problem yesterday, today it seems to be working better though.
@floating I'm still having trouble with the Aragon Dao account on Frame though
Have sent it through @floating . Redacting personal info
Ha! Hey @alexgausman :)
Jordan Muir
@floating
@alexgausman Can you confirm that your acting account has voting tokens in the DAO?
Thanks @intocryptoast_twitter!
Alex
@alexgausman
woot. adding the dao token worked @floating. makes sense. thanks!

Great! We really need a notification for users here though, sorry about that!

@intocryptoast_twitter I think it might have started working for me after I quit out of the ethereum app on my ledger and then waited for it to prompt me to reopen it. dunno for sure tho.
no worries. cheers
ttyl :)

Hey @intocryptoast_twitter! Your device is responding with UNKNOWN_ERROR (0x6804) which is as vague as it sounds :) I'm currently trying to reproduce on Windows but have not been able to yet.
When this error occurs in Ledger Live they recommend that you "reconnect your device", which is similar to the advice given by Alex above.
As this doesn't seem to be a widespread issue I would try completely restarting Frame and your Ledger to see if that works. I will continue testing and trying to reproduce. I will also make sure to include any Ledger dependency updates in the next version 0.3.7, which should be out soon.
