i work in the it sector too
started 2000 with the lamp stack
but i’m on it to switch now also to full stack js - its just to awesome
nice I first learned to program with lamp but was never really happy with php and mysql had too many problems for me. Then i moved to writing frontend code where i learned about javascript then to node and so on. Now i primarily code in node and golang and have for the past 5 or so years
ya its pretty sweet
i started as well with fronted, html, css, javascript stuff. later i switched to php, mysql and lot linux server administration too. most of my professional work was then in the backend with php or c++ for applications. now im just focusing as well on the js stack. things are moving forward crazy.
and it really looks for me this is the way to go. i can’t really see any reason why not make the switch to fullstack js (ok, instead of the learning curve, but i love it anyway)
