The CSV works, doesn’t it? Though I’d recommend using rawgit.com so you get proper content types and such.

@CharlesNepote not sure, but you might want to try OKI's GoodTables, which is actively developed, and based on Frictionless Data tooling http://goodtables.okfnlabs.org
That version with the UI is a prototype, and the next version is under active development and will be released soon. code is at https://github.com/frictionlessdata/goodtables.io

@esjewett thanks for the rawgit suggestion but it doesn't change anything :(
@pwalsh Goodtable doesn't seem to allow regexp in a "pattern" property isn't it? I'll investigate further, thanks.
