Hey @michaelamadi, that’s a good first place to check, when all you have is a name. The most ideal identifier however, recommended for sharing any data package across the web, is the datapackage.json file.

Hey @serahrono, thanks for confirming. We’ve implemented a behaviour that handles the different levels of explicitness of the data package location including the fully qualified and base path forms.

The name resolution piece is just to ensure that our implementation can handle the different variations of an Identifier String as described here: https://frictionlessdata.io/specs/data-package-identifier/

Hey @michaelamadi I’m not sure what exactly you mean here, but I would say that datahub.io/core should be used only for datasets in the core registry. You also can find it here https://github.com/datasets/registry
