Alex Vallejo
@alxvallejo
?
also if i output
    // firebase handle
    firestack.database.ref('statuses').push().then((res) => {
      let newPostKey = res.key;
      firestack.ServerValue.then(map => {
        console.log('map.TIMESTAMP', map.TIMESTAMP)
map.TIMESTAMP is an object with getters and setters...
so then i get this
error updating db Error: You attempted to set the key `created` with the value `null` on an object that is meant to be immutable and has been frozen.
Alex Vallejo
@alxvallejo
oddly enough, the record is added to the DB with a valid timestamp
but i still get the error
any help appreciated!
maybe the error is just from console logging it
Alex Vallejo
@alxvallejo
actually, i think this a result of trying to parse the timestamp to a date object after updating
sorry for rambling
Josh Birdwell
@birdwell
@prescottprue sweet, I tried it once it got an error message. I will try it again and get back to you.

this lib hasn't been touched in weeks guys
Elliot Hesp
@Ehesp
loads of issues have been sorted in react-native-firebase, plus other features etc. There was an issue to mention this in the readme but hasn't been answered.
Josh Birdwell
@birdwell
Question, since adding firestack to my rn project my firebase downloads have gone WAY UP. Any idea of why that is? While using @prescottprue firebase library with this firebase database for my webapp, I never had downloads. Now on a private project, I have hit the 13 GB mark.
Michael Diarmid
@Salakar
@birdwell this repo is dead
Scott Prue
@prescottprue
@birdwell yeah not totally sure, but I believe this repo is for the most part dead. The plan for the future is to allow passing in an instance of react-native-firebase in
Michael Diarmid
@Salakar
@prescottprue would be good, have added support for providerData a while back now in the repo that we shall not speak of ;p pretty sure that was the only thing missing that your library needed
Scott Prue
@prescottprue
@Salakar I believe what you are mentioning is fixed, but I'll message you directly so we can confirm

I try to open saved image, but i don't know why it's don't open.
I open saved image with 'saveEvent.localFilePath'. This path i paste in source(uri) on Image.
And image don't open.
What's i wrong to do?
Code,how i save image:

    onSketchSave(saveEvent) {
        const { navigate } = this.props.navigation;
        this.props.onSave && this.props.onSave(saveEvent);
        this.setState({images: [...this.state.images, { uri:  saveEvent.localFilePath, name: path.basename( saveEvent.localFilePath ), type: 'image/png'}]});
        navigate('SendViolations', {photos: saveEvent.localFilePath, width: saveEvent.imageWidth, height: saveEvent.imageHeight });
    }
...
        const { images } = this.state;
        let i = 0;

        const imageList = images.map(
            item => this.renderImage(item, i++)
        );
       return (
                <View style={{flex: 1, flexDirection: 'column'}}>
                    <Image source={pic} style={{flex: 1, flexDirection: 'column'}}>
                        <SketchView style={{flex: 1}} ref="sketchRef"
                                    selectedTool={this.state.toolSelected}
                                    onSaveSketch={this.onSketchSave.bind(this)}
                                    localSourceImagePath={this.props.localSourceImagePath}/>
                    </Image>

                    <View style={{ flexDirection: 'row', backgroundColor: '#EEE'}}>
                        <TouchableHighlight underlayColor={"#CCC"} style={{ flex: 1, alignItems: 'center', paddingVertical:20 }} onPress={() => { this.refs.sketchRef.clearSketch() }}>

                        </TouchableHighlight>

                            <Text style={{color:'#888',fontWeight:'600'}}>SAVE</Text>
                        </TouchableHighlight>
                    </View>
                    <View>
                        <TextInput
                            style={{height: 60, borderColor: 'gray', borderWidth: 1, backgroundColor: '#EEEEEE', fontSize: 20}}

                    </View>
                </View>
            );

Code, how i try open saved image:

    renderImage = (item, key) => {

        this.setState({

        });
        return (

                <Col>
                    <Image style={{width: 100, height: 100}} source= {{uri: this.props.navigation.state.params.photos}}/>
                </Col>
            </Row>
        );
    };
...
return (
...
                    <Form ref="form">

export default Relay.createContainer(Component,{
initialVariables :{
state:null
},
fragments:{
store :() => Relay.QLfragment on Store { stateInfo(state : $state){ //Repeat taking a state value from a list ["AZ","AK"...} name area population } }
}
})

From the Above relay container, I am trying to get state Info of 10 states hitting a webservice which accepts one state ant a time. My Question .

How Do I loop queries inside the fragments accepting one state values , and hit the webservicce and gather response in one shot?
How do I access the response in such scenarios ?

Can anyone please help with the solution inrelay.

Can we learn React native with minimal knowledge of React or Without knowing React
Tyler Ruby
@tylerruby
@hemm419_twitter yes, but it's more difficult. Try learning React Native and if you have trouble, then start learning React first
@AminuSufi585 you can use the Expo app so you dont have to download Android Studio
