    I like the generic idea!
    Have never heard of shinyprozy before
    Cool :)
    We made some tests last year, quite easy to deploy and use
    Helena
    @hexylena
    Oh it's kubernetes stuff.
    Ok even more in support of generic GxIT option now :)
    Fine for the people with k8s but this is not so many groups I think that are willing to take on either the GKE bill or the person hours to manage k8s

    @yvanlebras
    you mean this seems to be really relevant to consider the use of Shinyproxy to deploy R SHiny apps as GxIT ? (just to be sure ;) )
    Helena
    @hexylena
    No, just mean I'm excited for generic shiny GxIT and not so interested in shinyproxy
    Since more people can run a genetic GxIT and few can run shinyproxy

    https://live.usegalaxy.eu/u/helena-rasche/h/rstudio-demo @yvanlebras is it expected that the "species occurences" table is empty?
    I copied and pasted from the GTN

    hi Helena
    Yvan Le Bras
    @yvanlebras
    Yes, I saw it.. and I think this is due to a miodification of the GBIF API... it works with others data sources
    this is really not a happy news...
    I am on it
    I need to update the tuto
    here is a file as used for the tuto as output of the "Get species occurences data" https://ecology.usegalaxy.eu/datasets/11ac94870d0bb33ae3b4309e7498da26/display?to_ext=tabular

    hmmmm
    with @ColineRoyaux we made some tests @hexylena and apparently, this is the installation on eu who doesn't seems to work properly as making a fresh instal on our Galaxy instance give the good results

    if we decide we need some bash lessons for gallantries, it could be a fun 'homework' for students https://gitlab.com/slackermedia/bashcrawl

    It may be a good idea to present the Gallantries :)

    Saskia and I presented at the last one, we know them pretty well. Daniel running the workshop was the coordinator for my eosc life grant for admin training
    This description is a bit different than the one I knew for that workshop which was much more focused on teaching things with instruments and other equipment that couldn't be moved online. So maybe I need to check with them

    could you check with them? to see if at least one of us should be there and present sth. thanks a lot :)

    Yeah definitely
    Saskia and I have been attending all of their workshop series, it's been nice.
    I'll discuss with daniel

    he says we can give a flash talk, and that when we register we should check that.

    But this programme, it's not "how to give" it's "let's talk about what we think the problems are" (which matches my experience with previous events from them.)
    https://www.eosc-life.eu/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/HybridEventsWorkshop_DraftProgramme.pdf

    it's not a "the community knows and we're having talks from experienced people"
