    but I missed that execCommandAndValidate was itself parsing output from error, and only returning error, that's what was tripping me up

    Anyone has experience deploying galaxy isntances inside singularity containers using ansible? Could use some help with an error I am getting

    @aloraine
    I'm creating a new git repository with a playbook to deploy a Web site. I want to import roles from geerlingguy, but I don't want to version control geerlingguy's code in my repository. What do you think is best practice for re-using other people's roles?

    if there is anybody with experience in ruby gems / bundler management please let me know

    @Slugger70
    @aloraine, if its a new project then getting the latest version is probably the best. Sometimes we use the old ones (or a versioned one) as we haven't updated our own playbooks and roles to match an update on one of his.. If that makes sense... :)

    Follow-up to: @Slugger70 -- has galaxy project modified files installed when ansible-galaxy install command was run to get the roles code?
