    @jmchilton / @bebatut this is your reminder about updating planemo . . . I will try it when ready
    also, realized this morning that I need to head up to frankfurt today (there is no 5 am train for my morning flight), so I will be checking on stuff from my hotel / the train. thank you for your help on this

    Hey guys, anybody want to have a go probing my table computing tool from a security standpoint?
    galaxyproject/tools-iuc#2444
    Please try all kinds of exploits and dodgy imports, and code injection in the text forms, anything!

    @jmchilton
    Working on the Planemo release - I've hit some road bumps

    Quick question about ansible: during the training we used ansible running on python2.7 to deploy galaxy, would the same .yml script work with ansible running on python3?
    Helena Rasche
    @erasche
    sure
    Ansible works on both py2/3
    galaxy will still be deployed with py2
    MiguelJulia
    @MiguelJulia
    Awesome! Thanks @erasche

    is anybody familiar with the tool xml trick where you peek at the header of a tabular file and serve the column names to the user in the interface?
    I know HiCExplorer does it, but I could not find the section
    Nathan Dunn
    @nathandunn
    @jmchilton / @bebatut PyPi updated and now I am seeing the warning about the contributors . . not seeing anything else necessarily changed, though.
    Bérénice Batut
    @bebatut
    can you send me the tutorial.md? is the workflow on usegalaxy.eu?
    Nathan Dunn
    @nathandunn
    yes, I will send you the command I used to generate it
    I still need to merge the generated with the authored command in the PR (hopefully something to do on the flight)
    @bebatut but the material in annotation-with-apollo-v2 is generated with planemo 0.61 if you want to double-check it
    Bérénice Batut
    @bebatut
    everything looks good on your latest version: the inputs of steps are there, they could be missing with older version of Planemo
    Nathan Dunn
    @nathandunn
    Okay . . I’ll get that fixed and then update the content (with from other GGA members) over the next few weeks
    thanks
    Bérénice Batut
    @bebatut
    thank you for that!

    Hi CoFesters! On this last day of the CoFest, let's come together as a group at 6 pm in the room 1016 (the large room) to have a final recap of the day.

    the new nodes seem to have some issues though when finishing the tests: https://jenkins.galaxyproject.org/job/docker-toolshed/14767/console
    or don't manage to start docker containers: https://jenkins.galaxyproject.org/job/docker-api/16506/

    @jj-umn
    @mtekman if you run into any server performance problems with scanning for options with from_dataset you may need to use metadata instead. I discovered that with my first mothur toolset when the datasets were millions of lines long.
    Mehmet Tekman
    @mtekman
    ah, good to know
    is there a way to limit the max number of lines scanned?
    Jim Johnson
    @jj-umn
    @mtekman I don't remember, but then you may not collect all possible options. The metadata option in the datatype is nice in that the operation is only done once and performed by the job runner, not the server.
    Mehmet Tekman
    @mtekman
    @jj-umn good point, okay I'll play around with it :thumbsup:
