    There are 2 files you need to install, the theme and the framework. Have you tried installing both of them?

    fdallera
    @fdallera
    it was already installed i upgraded the framework but i'm not able to upgrade theme
    Michael Koontz
    @N8Solutions
    why aren't you able to upgrade the theme?
    if you are using Joomla then you just install the new theme

    @fdallera

    one moment
    so even if you use the links, and try to install the new template on top of the old one it doesn't work?
    I'm sorry, I'm not sure how much help I'll be as I don't use Gantry 4 on WordPress. I've only ever installed Gantry 5 on 2 WP sites so my experience with WP is limited.

    I'm trying to uninstall gantry 4 and I'm getting this error when I try to uninstall the gantry 4 package: Joomla\Filesystem\File::delete: Failed deleting inaccessible file index.html. I have permissions set to 777 currently on this site - it's not live or publicly accessible - and I would think I should be able to do anything with these permissions which is why this error is so odd. Thoughts?

    @N8Solutions
    @mahagr This seems like a question for you to handle.
    Matias Griese
    @mahagr
    it's joomla error, nothing to do with gantry
    well, uninstalling gantry yeah, but there's nothing gantry does on uninstall.. joomla handles it
    error says it all.. the file cannot be deleted from some reason
    ASCPL Web
    @ascplweb
    Can you offer any advise as to how I can troubleshoot this further? I've never come across this error when with permissions set 777 across the board.

    @ascplweb , is there anything in your error_log?

    ended up manually deleting four folders from another post I found online and that did the trick. Found it odd that just the gantry template would not update but joomla and all of my other modules updated without issue...

    Good morning @mahagr !
    Can you tell me which js files are involved in rendering the sidemenu and the toggle button with Gantry 4? I'm optimizing a site which optimizes and minifies JS files, but when I enable it, the mobile menu is ends up broken. I'm working on eliminating them one by one but haven't found the right combination yet. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    @mahagr
    unfortunately i don't know.. gantry 4 was developed before i got involved to the project and i never really looked into it except for smaller bug fixes

    :thumbsup:
    I think I've got it figured out now but I need to go back and tweak it a bit more so at the moment that particular work is on hold.

    @mahagr I found this post on the Joomla forum by Sozzled from Sept. 14th, 2019, and thought you'd want to reply.

    Gantry 4 templates are not compatible with PHP 7. We can spend time debating whether that statement is absolutely true in all circumstances... This is not about our beliefs, preferences or choices.

    @mahagr on this same topic, will Gantry 4 be updated to be compatible with PHP 7.4?
    Matias Griese
    @mahagr
    that's really old topic
    i'm not aware of any php 7.3 issues in gantry 4
    i'm not going to reply to that.. btw, all support requests using paid rt templates should be forwarded to RT
    regarding to php 7.4, gantry 5 is the priority
    but in case of gantry 5 i had to raise minimum php requirements to 5.6 in order to support php 7.4
    i'm going to look into gantry 4 after i get the new version of gantry 5 out
    no promises though
    the code is pretty old, i will need to check how easy it is to fix
    Michael Koontz
    @N8Solutions
    @mahagr Thanks for the reply. Yes, I know it's an old thread but only by a few months and sometimes people don't look any further when they find information like that out there. I made a post on it shortly after mentioning it here.
    I look forward to further updates from you!
    Have a great weekend!

    Hi, all! We've got a Gantry 4 site running Kirigami and Roksprocket that's throwing a bunch of console errors. Not able to figure out why. Can anyone take a quick look and let me know what you think? The errors appear to be related to Gantry/RokSprocket, not Kirigami. https://www.hubspeanuts.com/
    Matias Griese
    @mahagr
    looks like the site has no js frameworks loading (eg. mootools)
    sc456a
    @sc456a
    It's weird because it loads fine on my machine, but not some others. What would make it do that?
    Matias Griese
    @mahagr
    no idea, it is a wp site though and wp is stupid with its absolute paths with domain in it
    maybe something happened when the site was moved>?
    but try to look the source and see the differences
    maybe it'll reveal something
    sc456a
    @sc456a
    I don't believe that site has been moved at all, @mahagr .
