Joomlead provides two extra Off Canvas Gantry5 Particles for exactly this type of situation. One can even be used to replace the generic Off Canvas gantry Particle. So in fact you could run 3.
Both Joomlead particles (Off Canvas and Canvas Menu) run using their UIKIT3 Atom, making it easy to run a Left and Right Off Canvas with no conflict.
'JL Menu Canvas' can act as a full replacement of the Helium/Hydrogen and calls in your Menu or can be used alongside the Standard Gantry 5.
The 'JL Off Canvas' particle is more of a secondary support off canvas that allows Content, a basic menu system and Social Media links
Both particles have the added bonus of allowing you to place the menu opener inside a layout position and define breakpoints, which frankly is a godsend!
They are available for WP, Joomla and Grav
These are the Joomla links so you can see them in action, note that the examples run multiple instances:

I cannot speak for Grav, but if you are using Joomla and there are no absolute urls in the code you can move the site from abc.com to xyz.com with minimal issues.
The point is absolute urls, so some SEF components may store these in the database, maybe some google structured data, some may have been manually added inside certain particles or modules.
Backup a version of the source domain and install a copy onto XAMPP and check how it behaves. I'm no expert in WP but from what I see this 'CMS' has the greatest issues with being moved.
Grav, no idea, but given the team behind it, I would think that absolute urls are unlikely.
With Joomla, at least you have the wind behind you when performing this sort of action, but a middle step platform to test the process is the only real world way you have of testing this.
Gantry5 is a template manager with database entries. Out of the box it has no absolute urls, so it won't be a hindrance in particular and will likely behave the same way as the CMS with which it is integrated.
Layout Manager > Load > Presets. Other question I have, I need to implement a
Import CSVfunctionality, and I would like to use Gantry for input fields. I am thinking about creating an Atom and need to find a way to add a button + callback to it somehow unless you have a better idea ?
Using Hydrogen theme with Gantry 5 in Grav, how can one make the top level menu not link to any page, so that only the children items are active links? This seems to be a perfectly normal thing to do but I am stumped as to the technique.
In the Advanced tab within the parent page you want to hide (when you edit pages with the Admin Panel), you get the Routable option. Just disable it for any top level menu you don't want to be a link.
Did try both Firefox and Chrome and both freeze. Maybe a conflict with a plugin I am not sure. I do have Akeeba Admin tools added but disabling that didn't make any different. But if it to do with htaccess that it is creaeted disabling it won't effect it.
@jasonmac75 same on Chrome. Managed to get all category pages looking on with sidebar and full width for the product pages. But on the base shop page it reverts to full screen. I use a filter so if I reset all filters it shops the base shop page which is full screen. Would love to show via link but site is behind a construction screen and needs a full admin login to view.
Still not managed to get side bar working in Shop but works in all categories. The issue I have is that I have a filter in the side bar and if I reset then the page defaults to shop and displays nothing in the side bar.
