Hi all.
First of all, I would like to thank the developers for doing such a great job as Gantry 5. You did a great job. Thank you so much.
I made some customizations to Joomla Gantry 5 Helium Theme that i want to share for add them to next versions of Gantry 5 by Developers.
Informations about my customizations for Joomla Gantry 5 Helium Theme:

1- Added more "Sections" as default like "Header, Testimonials, Above, etc...) with custom scss for every new sections.
2- Added "A- Color Picker for Text Color, B- Color Picker for Background Color, C- Two of Color Picker for Gradient Effect, D- Image Picker for Background Image, E- Color Picker for Link Colors of Section, F- Color Picker for Link Hover Color of Section, G- Input Field for Opacity of Background" options for every sections.
3- Added menu that included " A- No Background Style, B- Background Color Mode, C- Background Vertical/Horizontal/Cross Gradient Mode, D- Background Tiled/Covered Image" to selecting style options per every sections.
4- Added menu for selecting Fixed Background option.
5- Added menu to enabling overlay effect for background image mode as well.
6- Added all same input fields and options to Page Surround
7- Added all same input fields and options to Sidebars and Mainbar too.
8- Added Input Field to enabling Video Background Option for ever sections in "Layout Tab".
9- Added input field to Body Attributes in "Page Settings" tab that enabling video background for Page Surround.
10- Added full of w3.css classes in variatons.scss. You can select the style by just adding class to where you want like "w3-card".
11- Added new color picker fields to "Styles" tab for selecting A- Custom Navigation Menu Background Color, B- Custom Navigation Menu Link Color, C- Custom Navigation Menu Hover Color, D- Custom Titles/Box colors as global, E- Custom Base Border Color as global, F- Custom Button Color 1/ Color 2 as global, F- Custom Link and Hover Colors as global.

A few more customizations that i forget them. Lol :)
Note: All customizations are made in custom folder. So the customizations are not linked to the main files. They are not affected by updates.

For use them, you have to just put my custom folder to your theme root. Then go to Layout Tab and load your helium Home Default and Base Outline from default and Default Particles from Particles Outline. It's esy.
I can share it as zipped file if you want to test them all

Hi to all. Is there any way to have two different templates and display one only on a PC and the other only on a mobile device?

@marvays Gantry comes with a built-in mobile theme that is activated on iPhone and Android devices. In the new themes this feature has been disabled since they are responsive. In the WordPress Voxel using the mobile theme, you can look into it to see how to implement it in your own theme (you basically need the mobile options that are in the templateDetails.xml file and then enable it in the theme settings page).
Creating different templates for every views (mobile/desktop versions) is not responsive design way. Personally I would advise against it; the web is moving toward responsive design and it's going to stay that way for a while, so it's better to get used to it :) And Gantry makes responsive design a whole lot easier.

@chatman1974 I want more control over the mobile template. First, I would create this whole template in one column from the beginning. Second, it would be similar to the PC, but easier and faster. Third, I would have a different oweride extension such as Virtuemart. So I could also customize the extension templates specifically for PCs and specifically for mobile devices. And this is what attracts me. And I don't want to leave the gantry and go to joomlashine because they have a JSN Mobilize component which is exactly what I'm looking for. But, it's JSN, not Gantry :( That's why I'm looking for my own way with gantry.

On Wordpress, can anybody tell me if custom overrides from themes need to be updated?

@mathewriver The answer is the same for any CMS. The need to update any custom override is inherent on what you want it to do and whether or not it no longer works due to say an update to the CMS. For example, I borrow particles from other RT templates and add them to the sites I build. I only update them if they have new functionality I want to add or if there was a bug fix. Other than that I have left them alone. I hope this helps answer your question.

Google has said they want the site visitor to be able to have the same experience, as close as possible, on a mobile device & tablet as they would on a PC. Traditionally when developers made a mobile site they would scale it back, remove content, etc... the whole look and feel of the site would be different, and Google not only doesn't like this, but sites designed this way will have their search rankings penalized. I would seriously rethink your approach.

I need to put insert contributors to the article footer, for example, the name of the person that narrated the video that used the article as a script.

How can I display ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) in helium theme, using wordpress? I've just setup the fields in the plugin and in the post, but they're not appearing in the article, that means I still need to insert some code in the theme or something like that.

ACF is a plugin for inserting custom fields in wordpress, I want them to go below the blog post, but I presume I should make some theme modifications first. I don't believe it makes a different to specify here the value of each field, since it's defined inside the plugin.

Me, but I don't use ecommerce, and the litespeed plugin that I use is "LiteSpeed Cache".

How did you solve? My plugin is also caching something that is annoying me, I just don't remember what it is, since its not very important.

@mathewriver It seems to be case and plugin specific, so hard to describe a single rule, but. Turned off all caches, applied Litespeed. Set Cart Module to no caching, made ESI with zero caching 0 TTL and Normal render. Then disabled the Litespeed cache on a few selected urls - (login, checkout and user areas)
Turned off Gzip and keep Joomla cache disabled, turn off system cache plugin. Refreshed Litesepeed cache and tested a good selection of pages (site is 1000's) across browsers.
However, one Gmail Twitter social login plugin from akeeba refuses to work which I did not notice last night!
So, the same here - except it is important!

But it doesn't work.
I tried both in the root than in the "custom" folder of my child and of g5_helium.
Wordpress 5.6.1 + Helium + Child theme.

Hello fellas, I was asking before which file should I edit to insert some code below the post, in Wordpress. I found out that the file that allows me to do that is "content-single.html", located inside "g5_helium/views/partials". I copied the file into the custom folder, keep the directory structure, now I'm able to do a theme override. I'm not sure if that's the right way, but that's what working for me. The problem is that I don't have clue on how to insert a php code inside that file. lol
