@splodingsocks have you considered creating a custom component to wrap any non-yolk behaviors? i.e. class MyThing extends Yolk.CustomComponent { ... }

Yeah, I've created a custom Yolk component to wrap react-draggable
and it worked out
it's a bit clunky, though

I create a div with a unique ID, and then I do a setTimeout(..., 0) and in the setTimeout I perform a ReactDOM.render into the div
I do the setTimeout so that the component will be mounted before the attempted bind

it should only run that function after the component is in the DOM
