@nitya Saturday's presentation mentions joining GDG HV github organization - I don't see a place to request that. Seems to be an invite thing rather than a request thing?

no worries -- this was more the crash course review of the content. Starting next week we'll review each lesson independently. Ping me any time (on this chat room) if you have questions. The prep deck was there only to give people some sense of terminology/big picture before they start off ..

Hi @laddp -- Let me know if you have any questions regarding the tools as described on my slides. Slide 46 and 47 basically go step by step about getting the required platform images, creating a virtual device, starting it on the emulator, creating a "Hello World" app and deploying it to the virtual device. Then, I go over the other tools to show how they help debugging and understanding an app
all from the terminal.

@laddp yes - I was adding them to the specific team (https://github.com/orgs/gdg-hudson-valley/teams/android-study-jam-2015) but I think it auto-adds to the org as well.
