    It is also important that the program does not react to the encoder after this event.
    Or maybe the program reacts, only the actions on the display are not visible...

    @thatjoshguy
    Did you observe such an incident?

    @redsleep
    An error in the LCD screen display may be caused by soldering of the board or interference of the signal line. Smartto does not support i3 series 3D printers. I suggest you contact technical support, it will give you effective advice.

    @kaktusus
    ok
    the consultation is very valuable, confirmed my assumptions.

    I recommend your attention, it is worth reading such presentations:

    Just popping in to say hello. I've been working on updating the supported GCODE documentation and adding support for new standard commands where possible. I've submitted another pull request with a few small changes, and once I get the build environment set up this weekend I should be able to assist with more.
    My current concentration is implementing the necessary standardized GCODE commands to configure the printer without the need for the motor tool or custom M2xxx commands
    That being said, I saw the new motor tool release and it looks great. I'll be updating to latest firmware soon to test it out along with the acceleration controls implemented from my last pull request!

    @kaktusus
    good news :smile:
    and it has to be said, a great piece of work

    :D
    where is source code for the touch screen included with the A30? Is it also in the Smartto github?
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    you know ... I do not have a green idea.
    it's worth checking
    there everything changes all the time
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    I see the following files available
    LCD2004.c LCD2004.h MMC_SD.C
    Have you asked that?
    Joshua S. (ThatJoshGuy)
    @thatjoshguy
    yup, not the ones i was looking for but I think i found it. do you know If I must upgrade the LCD firmware along with the main board each time?
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    oh, this question is not for me
    :smile:
    Which printer do you have?
    Joshua S. (ThatJoshGuy)
    @thatjoshguy
    Geeetech3D/Smartto#21
    @Geeetech3D please review the issue posted above, I would like to contribute more to this project but there is a lot of confusion about the project structure and process.
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    rightful remark
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    Eclipse may be prepared for those who want to work together because of its open source nature.
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    as you said, a transparent cooperation procedure should be set up, which will be good for everyone
    Joshua S. (ThatJoshGuy)
    @thatjoshguy
    indeed
    i have more things to add, but see no point until a single process is laid out.
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    I don't know who the leading engineer is. You would have to talk to this gentleman about the organisation.
    It could be Leo - that's my guess.
    Leo has the nickname Geeetech3D
    a document could be created in the main branch of the project to describe these rules
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus

    You know, I think that the gentlemen by politeness have not pointed out your mistake.
    When you talk to them and explain everything, there will be good cooperation.
    Everyone will be happy, and it will be generally known what and how. This new project and the principles of cooperation have yet to be established.

    We all need to learn from each other.

    Platform--IAR(stable)
    Platform--Eclipse(alpha)
    Joshua S. (ThatJoshGuy)
    @thatjoshguy
    That woud make sense if the alpha code is kept in line with stable, but it isn't. That is what git branches are for. They could set up a stable branch from which they compile release firmware, and an alpha branch for code submissions and testing. When alpha code is stable they would merge to stable branch and compile, then release new firmware version.
    Right now the Eclipse project and the IAR project are different. You can submit code to either which may cause conflicts since if you work in IAR you wouldn't see the latest submissions for Eclipse, and vice versa.
    Geeetech 3D Printer
    @Geeetech3D
    @thatjoshguy Yep. We have split the project into IAR and Eclipse and open a branch "gcode_completion" for completing command.
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    If the README.md file contains a clear description of the rule, then there will be no understatements
    so at the beginning it is worth to devote more time to it, so that the description is detailed, it will be useful for the future.

    Hello, all. After a long time testing in Smartto-Eclipse, we decided to stop the code maintenance. Unknown cause bugs and inevitable compiler differences let us realized that's a failed transplant. So we will reconstruct most of the code and open again few months later.
    Joshua S. (ThatJoshGuy)
    @thatjoshguy
    Understood, thanks for the update.

    @chuckdaniel
    Hi all, I'm trying to understand the branches as well. I've been logging issues to the IAR repository as well but it appears the Eclipse repository is more active. As my A30 is currently running the IAR firmware, it seems appropriate to document there. Would that be a correct assumption?
    Khaossa
    @Khaossa

    Hi,

    This is a bit confuse....

    I read on Github that the official project is Eclipse, and it looks the most active...
    Now I read that is stopped...
    @Geeetech3D finally what is a official project¿?
    kaktus Jacek
    @kaktusus
    Maybe I'll answer for the guys.
    As for now nothing has changed (nothing indicates a change) the Eclipse branch has been stopped due to problems. The software in the AIR branch is being developed. Of course, we are talking here about SMARTTO.

    @dekes1
    Hello. I am attempting to compile Smartto-Eclipse. I have downloaded the arm-non-eabi-gcc toolchain and i think i have it referenced properly in Eclipse. But when i attempt to build the project, i get an error stating "Program "make" not found in PATH". How do i correct this issue?

    @Geeetech3D Hello, How do you edit the UI? Can I have the HMI Files for the screen firmware?
