    yes, joe added the cors headers for l8
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    oh awesome! I'll tweet that out...
    and include it in a blog post soon.
    Google Earth Engine is able to create COG's now - composited a bunch of planet scenes, clipped to land.
    cog-explorer actually did better on transparency than qgis and marblecutter...

    @Schpidi
    nice

    @constantinius
    Regarding the transparency: we cheat :D
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    lol
    Fabian Schindler
    @constantinius
    We use black as transparent, this is why we see the fuzzy edges on JPEG images
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    ah, gotcha. Well, whatever works - I'm never one to oppose cheating in technology :)

    I'm definitely going to talk this up a lot at foss4g-na, and I think a lot of people are going to be blown away.

    Thanks a lot for that! Its great to have your support!

    Hi @cholmes! How's the conference? I've heard there was a COG BoF session? Any news?
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    Hey @constantinius ! It's good. Cog BoF was quite good. Drew took some notes - https://cryptpad.fr/code/#/1/edit/5JKq9WUUR9DH607TR9zx7Q/8v6DcTnYmOdvB-D7wXwH0lr1/
    I need to check them over and add to them and I'll put a blog post on it.
    Fabian Schindler
    @constantinius
    Ah, great, I'll have a look!

    @cholmes
    But I think we'll likely put the 'spec' on github, maybe make a little cog / cogeo github org, to put the website and the spec.
    But there was quite a bit of interest, 20+ people showed up.
    Fabian Schindler
    @constantinius

    Wow, sounds like its getting traction!

    But I think we'll likely put the 'spec' on github, maybe make a little cog / cogeo github org, to put the website and the spec.

    Sounds reasonable!

    @cholmes
    Yeah, lots of enthusiasm here. And RasterFoundry just implemented COG importing, which works great as well.

    @constantinius
    This is awesome. Especially considering the age of TIFF itself.
    We are working on a geotiff.js release here (will be 1.0.0-beta). I hope I'll finish it before your talk (tomorrow, is it?)
    Chris Holmes
    @cholmes
    Awesome! Yup, talk is tomorrow, at 9am St. Louis time.

    Hello, I'm trying to use this library on my angular application, but I'm getting lot of errors, does someone be able to integrate it?
