@arikfr heyas :) I'm querying my mysql on a json field and I'm trying to extract a value (doing some horrible substring_index, etc). but I've found something weird: sometimes, redash shows the column as empty
@arikfr sometimes, when I change 'something' on the query (ie, the column name (??)) it returns results, but a later run will yield the empty column again

@arikfr I suspect there's 'something' on the column values that redash tries to interpret, and b00m

@runa does it happen when you change column name or column values? if it's column name, then it's possible. the way the grid works it "doesn't like" certain characters. I filter some of them (like % for example), but apparently it also has issues with unicode...

@arikfr I'm really not sure. IIRC when I changed the column name it started working (??)

@runa makes sense. did the original column name contain special characters or unicode?

letme see
@arikfr meh. it was not working with 'xtelefono', so I changed it to 'telefono', ran the query again and now it works
@arikfr the problem you mentioned was with column names or values?

@runa column names. what kind of values does it return? do you see something in the browser console log?

@arikfr interesting. it's working now and I don't see new error messages. but the console had old errors. I'll see if I can reproduce it
