i see that running manage.py with sudo -u redash fix's the issue

morning :)
When I have my data grouped by week (but the column is a date for the first day in the week), the graph's bars are too spaced (because 'X' is a Date) and there're 6 days between each row. If I set the category as "Category" dates are converted to integers and things look weird. Hints?

@runa strange, usually highcharts handles these kinds of things better. can you send a screenshot?
(of how it looks before changing to category)
@shimont saw your emails now. glad you got it working, although strange that the upgrade process didn't work for you -- what error did you get?

@runa and what would you prefer to see? if there is a way to control the amount of tickers they put via the api (http://api.highcharts.com/highcharts#xAxis), then I can show you how to use settings beyond the ones that exposed in the UI.

@arikfr ah! I found the problem
@arikfr the first column of the first row was not a monday. and highcharts did some clever stuff. if I the first record is a monday it looks fine: g
