@arikfr: I did see your email but today (Tuesday) has been a crazy day of brain-breaking bugs in our ETL

@arikfr: I am starting to test redash to be used for specific users in my startup. Works pretty well. I have some doubts, maybe you can point me to the correct documentation. How can I restrict database access for certain users? As in we want that certain users have access to certain databases only. Can we manage it somewhere? Also, do users have an ability to change their own passwords?

@GaurPrateek currently there is only support to restrict abilities (like: execute query, or view query source) but not access to different databases. It's something I'm planning to add, but it's not available yet.

At the moment users can't change their passwords... but it should be added soon.

Cool. So these are all the types of permissions that we can manage right now: create_dashboard, create_query, edit_dashboard, edit_query, view_query, view_source, execute_query?

@arikfr Nice, thanks. I am also exploring the possibility of using it as our basic reporting tool. I can now add filters on the "table". But can we have some sort of a roll-up or drill down functionality for the pivot tables? Along with specific filters. I can see there is an arrow pointing downwards but its non-functional for me.

@arikfr once created, how can we disable the filters from the visualization? Let's say I have selected a filter for bookings that has 2 values that I can choose from. But for one use-case I dont need to apply filters. Can it be done without re-editing the query to remove the filter?

@GaurPrateek Currently filters contorlled only via the column name annotations, so just create a copy of the query, and run it without filters.
