@runa if you didn't change celery's configuration, it means it runs numbers of workers = number of CPU cores, which might be 1, and result in one query executed at a time. See how to change number of workers here: http://redash.io/deployment/maintenance.html

sometimes it's beneficial to split workers between adhoc queries and scheduled ones, but if you didn't feel the need, than better to keep single pool of workers.
