is there anyway to check users who login to redash over a period of time?

@rghose you can use the events table -- re:dash keeps track of things that users do in the system. most (if not all) pages you view in re:dash, generate some kind of event.

i find no separate event for login, I guess the 'view' action is the one to lookout?

it's in the pipeline!
btw, as an admin user, I am unable to add a query which accesses the users table in redash. any thoughts?

right, I didn't give the redash_reader user (which is used for the re:dash metadata) datasource access to the users table. you can give the redash_user permission to access to the id, email and name columns if you want
just run on the server: sudo -u redash psql -c "grant select(id,name, email) ON users to redash_reader;" redash
also there is a web admin available at /admin/user
but it won't help you if you want to query stuff

/all two announcements from the mailing list:
@/all (see above)
@rghose I've just updated the Fabric script, so if you use the latest one, you will need to pass stable=False to get version 0.6.4 (don't worry, it's as stable as 0.6.3).
