Hi all, I've a question regarding redash setup. I'm trying to setup redash in a docker ecosystem. Running all the components (postgres, redis, nginx and redash) in a single container using supervisord doesnt seem like a good option. Could anyone give me some pointers on the right way to do this. Thanks :)

you may want to have some separation for the contained services
such as redis and the postgres instance
then you can link them all together/use your fav container networkinging inf
i think the celery workers can remain on the "redash" container though

Yup, I've been scourging the redash setup documentation and github examples. What are the minimal set of commands required to just setup redash http://docs.redash.io/en/latest/setup.html
without any other service like redis/postgres/nginx. That'll help me setup the rest separately.

you can also try the packer image
they have a docker provider
instead of building an ami

Oh am trying to build a minimal docker image (not aws instance/ami) so that I could use this docker image in a docker compose setup (along with other redash deps like redis/postgres)
Is stripping down installation instructions from here, the only option?

basically
i wouldnt recommend dockering this, unless separated properly
also keep in mind you want the internal posgres data backed up
as it holds all the queries/users data

i see, the reason i wanted to separate these services out was to debug a particular issue.
Redash responds with results of different queries while editing other queries
