@arikfr Hi, thank you very much for fixing the bug last time. I found something similar in data source permission setting for different groups. If I add a data source to a group and change the data source permission for that group, it automatically jumps to the front page. And, I go back to the data source page for that group, the database I just added disappears.

If I keep adding the same database after that and change the permission, then, I refresh the page. I got the result in the snapshot. It seems every setting change would be done correctly after refreshing the page.

When using some tools like Hue, or Ambari’s Hive querying web view I am able to save a query with “placeholders” (eg. WHERE start_date = '$from_date') - when a user comes along and executes that query they are then prompted for a value for $from_date before the query is executed. Does redash have a feature like that?

Yes, currently there is no UI to enter parameters, but that's coming soon. See example here: http://demo.redash.io/queries/146/source?p_action=create

I fiddled a bit with the gh-pages (see pull request) and saw some html which did not make sense and i was wondering if you use it for something or i can remove it
