@sreynen @cldellow I think I will update the vagrant instructions to run drop tables and then create tables. Should be simpler and more stable than running all the migrations.
@sreynen and I definitely agree about lowering barriers. I just wasn't sure if you want to make existing vm to work or launch new one.
@sreynen if you describe what you're trying to do, I can give more precise pointers. But look at dashboard controllers and dashboard.html.

i'm adding a new widget type for raw HTML, which i got working yesterday and will hopefully have a PR soon

@sreynen do you know that the text box widget accepts markdown and some html?

yeah, i'm looking for full HTML
to do things like forms that submit parameters, embed widgets from elsewhere, etc.

@sreynen the tags you can use in the current widget are limited by the sanitizer. I wouldn't work too hard on forms for parameters as "native" support for this is coming.
Embeds are a different story but might be already working.

right, the HTML widget bypasses the sanitizer
with raw HTML, the work for a form is pretty minimal, just writing "<form>"

if native forms makes that irrelevant, great. other HTML will still be useful
a twitter widget is one example of the sort of embed that doesn't work with text widgets, but works with raw HTML

@sreynen I just realized something: iirc there is a setting to disable the sanitizer. Did you try it?

no, where is it?
maybe REDASH_ALLOW_SCRIPTS_IN_USER_INPUT?

yep, that seems to do the same thing as full HTML widgets
guess i'll make settings documentation PRs instead

Hi Guys, checking out the hosted version. Does the paid version have more features or is the charge simply for hosting?
