@arikfr - Regarding admin no longer needs to set the password, and we just send an invite email to the user. , Which version is that?
I am on 0.9.2+b1536 . I do not see that option

@all - In my redash instance, I had 2 groups. 1) default 2) admin. My admin user was present in both the groups. I removed admin user from default and now it seems, that admin user does not have any admin rights. I am not able to change/add users/groups.
How can I get my admin access back?

@shahneil88 it's in the 0.10 builds.
@shahneil88 you need to add it back to the default group. in redash, being an admin is not a "wildcard" permission, but rather just another permission that is checked on some of the methods. you still need the other permissions for full access.

Ok. Also, regarding the admin rights, can you help?
@arikfr - I tried, but when I login as admin, I do not see users/groups option for admin user

@shahneil88 you will have to do this from the db.

Ok. Not sure, if it s the correct way, but I tried creating a new user redash_admin by this command
bin/run ./manage.py users create --admin --password admin "redash_admin" "admin"
It didn't work

I did. Failed creating user: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "users_org_id_email" DETAIL: Key (org_id, email)=(1, admin) already exists.

yep, you need to use another email as you already have a user with email=admin (the original admin)
