I updated /opt/redash/.env to include
export REDASH_MAIL_SERVER="email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com"
export REDASH_HOST="https://redash.mydomain.com"
export REDASH_MAIL_PORT="25"
export REDASH_MAIL_USERNAME="someusername"
export REDASH_MAIL_PASSWORD="some password"

I restarted nginx and supervisor
Below is screenshot of my query

I am not receiving email. How can I debug this?

I was able to send test email using bin/run ./manage.py send_test_mail
OK. Issue resolved. I forgot to set refresh schedule for my query, so the value was not being updated in trigger query :)
What does rearm seconds field indicate?

Whenever alert is triggered, i receive an email and the state of alert becomes TRIGGERED
After 2 mins, state of alert becomes OK and i receive another email.
Why do we receive 2 emails?

Hi guys, is there any "one file" installation for redash? I have a private network where i want to install it and it doesnt have an internet connection so i cant just use the setup script.

@shahneil88 you receive an email whenever the state changes (ok -> triggered, triggered -> ok). if you set rearm seconds, you will receive an email every <rearm seconds> if the alert is triggered.
@nonick2 the closest thing is the Docker container. Is this an option for you?

@arikfr - Does that mean that whenever query conditions are met for trigger, I will receive 2 email?

No. You receive a single email every time the condition changes.

I have a feeling I know what it's related to and might be fixed when I upgrade to latest plotly and remove our workaround for scrollable legend.
It's something I'm planning to do before closing 0.10.

@nonick2 the other option is to install on a similar system to what you have in your network inside a virtualenv, and then package it. this is assuming the system packages, postgresql and redis are available inside your network.

I'm trying to access our redash API via google spreadsheet
/queries/<XX>?api_key=<YY> works well
but /api/query_results/<QUERY NR>?api_key=<YY> fails
is it a known bug?

@AliAlbazaz I'm assuming you're using the query api key? If you do, then it's not a bug but the designed behavior. With the query api key you can use the following calls:

/queries/<query id>
/queries</query id>/results.<json|csv> for the latest result
/queries/<query id>/results/<query result id>.<json|csv> for a specific query result

If you're using a user api key, you can call whatever api call is available.

@arikfr you're awesome! the CSV export is fantastic
I just connected it with www.charted.co

@AliAlbazaz I'm curious, why not put Redash itself on the big screen?
