@arikfr figured out a username/password. You can set any user name but needs to have "@" in it

@szsiddiq so if the current filters had the "all" option it would be what you're looking for?
@Orange19810_twitter but why not use their email?

@arikfr @szsiddiq I would definitely upvote for the "all" option within filters

@arikfr Thanks for the quick reply. I'll have to look into a work around.

@arikfr Hi, I've made a custom query runner and I want to keep it in my github repo and use it in redash. How can i link it inside of redash?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr

@FedericoPonzi you need it to be available in Redash's import path and then you can pass its name to be imported as REDASH_ADDTIONAL_QUERY_RUNNERS config value.

@arikfr that would get most of the way there. But here's a scenario it wouldn't account for: say I have news article titles and I wanted to look at all the titles with the word "Earthquake". With the current filter, I could find each one to select, but not view all at once.

@szsiddiq are you familiar with the multi-filter option?
szsiddiq
@szsiddiq
May 26 2016 20:09
@arikfr yup, but that would still require me to add one item at a time, right? Say there are 100 articles with the word earthquake - with multi filter, wouldn't I have to click each one individually?

Hey all, sorry if this is an answer I missed in the documentation - but is there a way to lock down a Dashboard to a specific user / group? Not seeing anything in the UI.

oh, I think I understand what you're looking for: you want to search for a term, and then select all the results?
@ngrygs permissions work based on groups relationship with datasources. So basically you define the access level of a group to a datasource. Then if someone is not a member of a group that gives him access to the queries used to build this dashboard, he won't be able to see it.

(Also, @arikfr - thank you for re:dash - using it during my internship to create dashboards for leadership)
@arikfr - Ah, that makes sense. One other question - is there a way to have public link viewers (without logging in) download an XLS / CSV?

Hi... Do we have options for having parameters in redash?
This message was deleted
I checked the example which was provided already.. But it looks a bit unclear... I have an issue to resolve for a problem. I am currently exploring reddish on behalf of an organization
but parameterization seems a bit of a challenge in re-dash

@txr150430 Yes you can pass parameter. Look at https://demo.redash.io/queries/718 and UI for parameter is coming soon, check at getredash/redash#1069
