@arikfr Hey. I see queries being queued multiple times, it seems weird to me: http://puu.sh/piNh1/975281954b.png

Running keys query_hash_job:* in Redis gives me 123 results but zrevrange query_task_trackers:waiting 0 -1 gives me 445 results

@AntoineAugusti I stumbled at something similar, but didn't manage to reproduce locally and wasn't sure if I actually saw duplicate jobs or something different.

It seems to have been the case for a few days for us. The only thing I do to clean it up is to mess with Redis and let Redash requeue queries

@AntoineAugusti do you actually see duplicate queries executing in your DB? maybe it's just a reporting bug?

I think I never saw duplicates in the "In progress" tab but really often in the waiting list
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jun 06 2016 14:13
but in your db itself?

In the Redash DB you mean?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jun 06 2016 14:14
no, in the you're querying. do you actually see multiple same queries running
?

@AntoineAugusti

No, I never saw that. But queries are added to the waiting queue in Redash multiple times (multiple instances of the same query ID)

ok, at least that :) and helps to pinpoint the problem

Hey @arikfr, sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but is there a 'My Dashboards' page similar to the 'My Queries' page?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jun 06 2016 18:55
@ngrygs no
(no, there isn't)
@biakaveron there is an option to enable this in 0.11, but it's NOT secure and not recommended for use with non internal users.

@arikfr yes, I understand. We use redash as internal report system, so its not a problem
@arikfr REDASH_ALLOW_PARAMETERS_IN_EMBEDS ? :)

Hey, I was just wondering if there was some documentation on getting the MySQL connection in Redash working for a remote box
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jun 06 2016 19:26
@biakaveron that's the one
@biakaveron oops. click the "Edit" button and submit a pull request :)
@akshayagarwal what is the info you're missing?

Umm... this may be a complete noob question, but how will the MySQL adapter try to connect to my remote MySQL host? Using SSH & then logging in as the DB user (like with MySQL Workbench) or will it try to directly connect using TCP?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr

Try to connect directly using TCP. If you need to setup SSH connection, it's up to you to do it.

ok great, does Redash generate any connection logs? Just trying to debug my connection
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jun 06 2016 19:32
@akshayagarwal it generates logs and will show error messages in the UI. logs locations depends on how you installed it

Hmm... in my case, it seems like the query just goes on without any results. I installed using Bitnami on a standard ubuntu instance. I will now SSH into the box to see if I can find the logs.

Bitnami has a different folder structure so I'm not sure where they put the logs, but I thikn they have this documented somewhere. If it goes forever, it's probably connection issue and it waits to hit a timeout

yeah, I am thinking on the same lines. Will come back with what I find. Thanks @arikfr :)
