@arikfr - One of the user, whom I invited 2 weeks ago to create an account, did not create account till date. Today when user tried to click on "invite link" in email, it says Error :-( Your invite link has expired. Please ask for a new one.
How do we send the new link? or we just send password reset email?

The only thing that I can think off is that Hive is running as part of an AWS EMR cluster. Do you know of problems with this setup?

Hey, we upgraded our docker containers from v0.9 to the latest. Now our dashboards are gone and we think there are some migrations pending. But how does one run the migrations? The docs only say 6. Apply any new migrations. http://docs.redash.io/en/latest/upgrade.html?highlight=migrate
Not sure if there is a simpler way to do it

We did but this didn’t help because we’re actually inside the acutal docker container. Now we figured out which migrations already run and found that the last 2 were missing. We now did run export PYTHONPATH=. && bin/run python migrations/0022_add_new_permissions.py. But that’s all way to manually…

Hi, I'd like to use a version control system for the queries I save on my redash instance. What's the recommended way to do so?

@cosenal Write a SQL query to extract query name and query, save it to a file and use VCS for the folder you store your CSV in?

@cosenal or you can use the API to sync the queries with a git folder. There are thoughts of adding some sort of version mgmt, but nothing currently available.
@MetalMatze indeed manual, and that's why Docker isn't yet the recommended way to run Redash. Once getredash/redash#1123 is implemented, this step will be automated.

thanks @AntoineAugusti and @arikfr That's how I could store the queries. What about ways to restore them to redash?

If you want to save queries in order to restore later (backup or disaster recovery), maybe just pg_dump the whole database and use pg_restore later. Or use the API

@cosenal same way - use the API.

Just see what the API calls the browser makes when editing/creating queries.

Hi Arik, ... I'm trying to lock down our dashboard a bit more and wanted to check if in I can do anything else ... currently, I need to make one datasource all access, as I want to be able pass parameters through to the dashboard. Is there a way to lock down groups or users another way from accessing the ability to create / view queries?
