I am using V0.10.1 version. While checking demo dashboards, I observed that it has version 0.11.0 with few things missing.
1) "Remove from Dashboard" option from each widget
2) "Share" option for dashboard
3) "Edit Dashboard", "Add widget", "Archive Dashboard"
Are we removing these options?
P.S - I love the refresh button for each widget. It would be really helpful.

@shahneil88 I'm running 0.11+ and I can see all these options. Maybe you're just looking at a dashboard you don't have permission to edit?

@AntoineAugusti - Can we set permission at dashboard level as well? Was it introduced in 0.11 ?
I never knew that

Nope, what I meant is that you cannot edit a dashboard unless you're the owner of the dashboard, meaning you created it

oh ok. Yes. That could be the reason. Thanks :)

But there is a feature request to allow others to edit a dashboard you created: getredash/redash#1028

@mdwongca yes, there is. It's not documented or has UI, but each group has a permissions column you can edit those.
@JamieAhern1_twitter where it the file located?
and trying to emulate the syntax, but it doesn't work
I get the error «Error running query: Missing values for id parameter.»

You need to have p_id query string param in your URL.
We added a UI for this in 0.11

@arikfr Can I parametrize a dashboard? that would be cool
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jul 01 2016 15:56
@cosenal if you add a query with parameters to a dashboard, then it will take a parameter. there is no support (yet) for dashboard-level-parameters (i.e. one input field to change all queries), but this is planned.
Alessandro Cosentino
@cosenal
Jul 01 2016 15:56
queries inside a dashboard would have common parameters, which would be specified by the url to the dashboard
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jul 01 2016 15:56
and yes - when you change the vlaue in the url, it applies to all queries
Alessandro Cosentino
@cosenal
Jul 01 2016 15:58
that's not implemented, right?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jul 01 2016 15:58
applying the value form url to all queries form a dashboard is already implemented

when you add queries with parameters to a dashboard, it will just work. :)
but in 0.11, where we have UI for parameters, each param will have its own input box

what should I write in the url of the dashboard?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Jul 01 2016 16:01
same you would in the query
if the param is {{id}}, then it will be p_id=...
