@bbay do you have a recent enough version of Vagrant?
@hamishdickson looks like we don't support this. if it's not possible to pass search_type as part of the query body, you're welcome to open an issue for this. it shuold be relatively simple to add.

maybe they dropped support for external boxes ? :|
anyway, the vagrant box is just a convenience... you can set it all up yourself

@arikfr thanks - I’ve done some more playing and maybe this isn’t actually a problem
I think the actual problem I’m having is with aggregrates - I can’t get them to output correctly. Say I want to create a data_histrogram - that aggregate data doesn’t get output
(which is the kind of thing I’d really like to be able to do)

There was a fix for ES aggregations. I can't find it in the release notes for some reason but based on the date it might be part of 0.12.
How did you install Redash?

ohhh that would be cool - using docker on aws

then you can upgrade to 0.12, but note that you need to manually run migrations.

oh ace - this is a poc for some of our analytics, so we don’t have any existing redash info to migrate
thanks @arikfr !

Hello! I've been testing redash and think you've done an amazing job. Thank you!
The question is.... how do I use it? I don't see that as an option anywhere

Has anyone been able to get that feature working? Can you share how you got there?
