Hi All. I have followed the redash documentation to backup the database and restore in to a new server
All the users show up as previously but non of the queries show
I upgraded from V0.11 to 0.12

The queries are in the database, they are just not showing up in redash? They are python queries and I have enabled the the python query runner

Did you run migrations?

no, I followed the redash backup instructions
there is not mention of migrations there

the backup assumes you restore to the same version. otherwise you will need to run migrations.

mmm, ok. Thank you Arik. Where do I find the instructions on the migrations, and please add it to the backup database and restore instructions (or atleast a mention that it needs to happen)
Or do I first update the current server to the latest version, before backup/transferring/restoring it to the new server?

If it's still possible that it will be easier.

Ok, O got it working now. The upgrade succeeded but the queries are now not listed on the old server (upgraded to the latest version). I am restoring the old database to repeat the process incase something with the migrations went wrong. Anything else I should look at?

Haha, ok, now I totally screwed up. I replaced the database of v0.12 with database of v0.11 and ran the upgrade again but not the upgrade will not work as it is already on 0.12
So the best would be to manually apply the migrations on the old database and the restore it to the new server
Can I edit the postgres database directly with the required changes?
and where can I get a complete list of all the required updates
migrations?

Hiya @arikfr, where would be the best place for me to start poking around the source code if I want to try adding default value support for query parameters in the UI
So I don't get a Error running query: missing value for parameter. error
