Hi, I been wondering if there is any way to limit the amount of retries a failed query can do once it fail. ?

In our company we use https://modeanalytics.com, but redash sounds like a better solution

I have a question, do you guys support to run queries in standard SQL over a mongo database?
Arik Fraimovich
@arikfr
Feb 12 2017 13:06
no :| unless you know of something that can translate SQL to Mongo queries. Our current support for Mongo requires writing JSON queries...

no problem, I’m implementing https://www.torodb.com
so for our stack we could have a bridge between mongo database with torodb, and then query them using redash ;)

nice! does torodb "speak" postgresql on the sql side?
Raul Pino
@p1nox
Feb 12 2017 13:19
no, torodb maintains a postgres database replica in realtime of a mongo database, so having a postgres database we could speak standard SQL to analyse mongo data

I have a question.
I'm try to upgrade redash from redash.0.10.1.b1834 to redash.0.12.0.b2449 by upgrade script(https://raw.githubusercontent.com/getredash/redash/master/bin/upgrade).
but the script failed in "uninstall of cryptograph".

@hayato240_twitter it looks like the previous web process didn't stop, and using the port so the new one can't start. find it and kill it.
