@vytla102_twitter if you are not using docker why don't you use the install script? https://redash.io/help-onpremise/setup/setting-up-redash-instance.html
The redash database url is just a way to tell redash where to save data. Where postgresql is. It is not another redash server. If you use the install script you will be guided.

@dncpax I am currently using the same script and so my question is, I will have multiple redash servers , suppose I have 3 redash servers, one of the redash server should store all the information in the db and other two servers should connect to that server DB .

@vytla102_twitter ok, then you just have to know the ip address and login to the 1st pgsql database. I don't remember but looking at the install script the user should be "redash", without password, and db name is also redash... "postgresql://redash@ip_address_first_redash/redash" or "postgresql://redash:redash@ip_address_first_redash/redash" may work...

ahhh but that will probably fail because by default postgresql will only accept connections from localhost. To accept remote connections you have to configure it. This is a nice tutorial: https://blog.bigbinary.com/2016/01/23/configure-postgresql-to-allow-remote-connection.html
