    Hi @ryanboren I'll try and answer in order.
    • We're hearing that and will discuss further
    • Rotate 90ยบ right - not the final icon.
    • Yes, we felt that the tap and show is the only consistent mobile/touch/desktop interaction we could think of. The one instance were this would not be the case would be deselecting an already selected image. You would simply tap the already visible check to deselect.
    • I'm not sure I fully understand the question. The images are uncropped in thumbnail mode if you're asking about the full image in that sense. Clicking edit (in any of the places it appears on-screen) takes you to a large view of the image in all of it's glory.
    Ryan Boren
    @ryanboren
    Rotation, edit, delete, and selection as image overlays? Those should be on the details view beneath a full-width image.
    teamAris
    @teamAris
    • No, on the desktop / larger screens selecting an image brings up the details in the right panel. On mobile, yes, a user has to click to open the details screen.
    • I wonder how this works with the current media grid, have you seen what their pattern is?
    Those options are all available in the edit mode as well, we think there is a definite use case for someone to simply need to rotate an image, and insert it into the post without needing to enter the edit workflow.
    The edit mode being a 'full-width' image view.
    You'll be in SF yeah? These are some of the things that will be great to hash out in some paper tests as a group.

    Getting some screens together of what I like in a mobile flow. It's not four icon overlays and three tabs.

    @teamAris
    Great, looking forward to seeing your input.

    @ryanboren
    Incomplete, but much more in line with my needs. https://cloudup.com/cqikzOnl_5z

    @teamAris
    Would you like to be able to select multiple images on mobile? Or is that something you see as extraneous?
    Ryan Boren
    @ryanboren
    Multi-select into a gallery is a must have on platforms that support it.
    The grid view needs to work out two things, how to provide multi-select and provide access to images big enough to actually see.
    teamAris
    @teamAris
    OK, we'll be meeting tomorrow to go over the frames in more detail, this will be on the docket.
    Ryan Boren
    @ryanboren
    Those overlays, I can't imagine enjoying tapping them. And tapping an image and then tapping attachment details at the bottom to get at the details is mystifying, especially if the image will be as tiny as it is in those mockups. Requiring diving into edit to see a big image is a flow killer.
    teamAris
    @teamAris
    Yeah, I think the three across on that small of a screen is a mistake, likely we'll go to two column grid which will help with image size. What do you think of things like taphold or click timers in javascript as a way to implement some sort of 'long click' action to reveal more options or enable multiselect? Seems a bit hacky.
    Ryan Boren
    @ryanboren
    Beta 1 is in 9 days. At this point I just want to get rid of the sidebar on mobile and do a full-width image details view with swipe up to get at details, as in those screens I dropped, which is also the approach the grid view attachment details view takes.

    @sonjanyc, @mor10, @pabloperea are you all good for 9a PST?
    PabloPerea
    @PabloPerea
    9a PST is ok for me and also 11a PST. (If we meet at 9 I might be a bit late due to traffic jams on the way back home)

    @smckeown Will we be able to get access to a printer to print out the frames in San Francisco, or should I plan to print out and copy the frames before heading up?
    Daniel Klose
    @kLOsk
    if anyone of you has windows mobile or android it would be nice if you could confirm the image adding functionality of the facebook app as described in it.
    Since 9 billion people out there use facebook I believe it would be the most common workflow to mimic?
    teamAris
    @teamAris
    thanks @kLOsk, I was wondering about the long tap as well. I think a long tap to reveal the icons is a good solution that would allow for a rapid single image flow on mobile, with bulk actions easily accessed. Long tap seems to take some effort to get to work consistently but bears exploring.

    @PabloPerea can you send me your rotate icon and the PSD for this screen? https://projects.invisionapp.com/d/main#/console/1746964/42434620/preview
