The solution in comment https://github.com/gitbucket/gitbucket/issues/2479#issuecomment-659649113 fixes it. It may even be something worth adding to the wiki for longtime users of h2 with 4.31.2 or older. Note there was one bug though, for me: The generated SQL had DELETE commands for CI_RESULT and CI_CONFIG but those tables did not exist for me.. After deleting those lines from the SQL script, it restored fine.
Naoki Takezoe
@takezoe
CI_RESULT and CI_CONFIG are tables created by gitbucket-ci-plugin. If you have never used this plugin, SQL won't include DELETE statements for these tables.
Josh Curtiss
@joshuacurtiss
Ah that makes sense, I tried out the plugin but it was not installed on my test environment.

Just to follow up. Now running 4.34 on Windows Server 2019 with Apache 2.4 and Tomcat 8.5. Works great. I love GitBucket and appreciate your work.

Hi, does anyone know how to connect gitbucket and kanboard?
Naoki Takezoe
@takezoe
I don't know exactly but if this tool supports GitHub API, it may be able to integrate with GitBucket too.
Jerome Moussalli
@jmoussalli
Hi, is a graphical client (sourcetree sortof) usable with gitBucket ?
xogium
@xogium
wow that pr seems nice
do you want me to try it out ?
I'm blind so all those missing form labels, missing alt, etc
Josh Curtiss
@joshuacurtiss
@jmoussalli Yes definitely, I do that all the time with my GB repos

@xogium You mean my PR? gitbucket/gitbucket#2552
I'd appreciate if you could give me some advice (e.g. redundant or useless contents...). TBH, I'm not an expert in this area. I just followed Lighthouse report.
xogium
@xogium
yeah that one
what should I be looking for ?
SIkebe
@SIkebe
I wonder my changes are really useful or not for people using screen reader or similar assistive technology...
xogium
@xogium
yes
but what should I check specifically ?
for example which page ?
Lighthouse accessibility score improved from 65 to 90~96 on average.
xogium
@xogium
oh
xogium
@xogium
from what I see on my own instance it seems to be fairly good for accessibility… Of course lighthouse isn't perfect by anymeans, but it helps
SIkebe
@SIkebe
@xogium Thanks! 4.35.0 will include that PR :smile:

@kauradhika
Hi, Can we get dedicated support for gitbucket? I know the question seems dah!, but it's really urgent. Thanks in advance
Naoki Takezoe
@takezoe
@kauradhika As far as I know, currently, no one can offer commercial support which can cover such urgent cases for GitBucket. Only community support is available.
kauradhika
@kauradhika
@takezoe Thanks for the information
MrMelon
@MrMelon54
gitbucket gives the error "Internal Server Error
java.sql.SQLInvalidAuthorizationSpecException: (conn=5950) Access denied for user 'user'@'ip' (using password: YES)" but it only shows on the issues/pull requests pages
I renamed the user to move it from an old ip to a new one not sure if that would have caused any issues?
but there is still a grant for all privileges for mydatabase.* so the user definitely has permission
MrMelon
@MrMelon54
I managed to fix it by exporting all the database data, deleting the database and recreating it then importing my data again
I'm still not sure what happed to cause that error?
Zakaria SMAHI
@zsmahi
Hello gitbucket
I'm new here and I'm looking if there are any plugin/option for time tracking on open issues equivalent of time tracking of trello / clockify ? thanks in advance :)
Naoki Takezoe
@takezoe
@zsmahi Currently, GitBucket doesn't have a solution for time tracking of issues. gitbucket/gitbucket#2423 may help to implement that capability in the future, but it's not yet available.
Zakaria SMAHI
@zsmahi
Thanks @takezoe for your answer :) ; I would like if there are a such feature. I'll check your link

Is it possible to update from 4.20.0 to 4.34.0? I am deploying using Tomcat 7.0.56.
Naoki Takezoe
@takezoe
@shreejanshrestha Yes, but I strongly recommend to take a backup before upgrading.
SIkebe
@SIkebe
Also, you might need to update some plugins because of binary compatibility.

By the way , what is avatar, I didn't recall setting them. and is it normal to not have that data.tar file?
Mészáros István
@imeszaros
You can set an avatar for your profile in GB. maybe if noone has an avatar the file is not beeing created.
On our installation there is nothing else there just the avatar images.
LowDensity
@LowDensity
@imeszaros thanks for experience, I was thinking something similar but not sure.
