Hi, in MYSQL, is there a way to run partial code of a stored procedure with local variables, like selecting this part and press F5,
like :

DECLARE num INT = 1 ;
SELECT num;

Without replacing the variable to @UserVariable , or without running it as a store procedure call

@Davidezrajay I'm not aware of any places dedicated to finding volunteer developers. I do know there are funds for software development for the common good, though, for example the Shuttleworth foundation.

I have to work on a new application to locate users in an area who wish to exchange a product
but how to make a restriction on an area
because if I create a socket web channel in which all users are plugged in it may send a huge result to be processed
Unless I permanently record the location of users?
What do you think about it ?

@kevinG73 To me this definitely seems most tractable if you save user locations to your database. It can be temporary, though.

@Chameleon-Coder Work in what programming language, for what purpose, in what context? To me it looks like JavaScript, but the notation is not quite right. Also, computer code generally doesn't do anything if you type it in a chat, but maybe that is not what you meant.

You can make code fences like so:

```js
your code here
```

(instead of js you can also do html, css, py, cpp, hs, etcetera, whatever your language.)

I recently discovered this innovative platform called 'Daisi', where you can deploy serverless python functions which can be reused in a matter of minutes. All one has to do is install their python library, instantiate the 'Daisi object' and call the functions with no hassles of installing packages and setting up environments. (Really great use-case for people without the technical know-how of installing complex packages, setting up ML models, etc).
