If I go into the Gutter/gutter channel. The text is black and the background is white. While in the selection of channels or private is black with coloured icons. I would upload the screenshot but the Android mobile version doesn't allow this on my phone.

I'm curious, why are gitter usernames so long when seen from Matrix?

E.g. why is Matthew's name @ar4n-54478bc8db8155e6700cd7b1:gitter.im instead of just @ar4n:gitter.im?
