Hey guys, I was wondering if I should invest in livescript
I love js, but hate verbosity.
can someone help me? biases, prejudice, and links are most welcome. :)

@jigargosar my 2c: livescript is great for smaller personal projects or when you're using vdom libraries like hyperscript or mithril that are entirely function-based
the syntax is a bit too complicated and nuanced/ambiguous for larger team projects though, I have a hard enough time teaching people just javascript
it's also pretty good if you want to write javascript a bit more functional without having to totally dedicate to it, since it works natively with js libs and still allows you to do things like forward piping

@jigargosar my 2c: lts up to your individual situation and trade-off capacity
depends on how important you think functional programming is
to write good code

well imo if you thought that highly of FP you'd use something like elm or funscript

Elm has its own runtime
funscript seems interesting :D

the web is too big for walled gardens to thrive
