    I will fix it today I think and publish a snapshot this evening (europe)
    is that ok for you?
    in the meantime you can work around the problem by editing the design in fauxton and add the missing fields
    case class DesignDoc(
      _id: String,
      language: String,
      views: Map[String, ViewDoc],
      validate_doc_update: Option[String],
      updates: Map[String, String],
      filters: Map[String, String],
      shows: Map[String, String],
      lists: Map[String, String],
    rewrites: Seq[RewriteRule])

    oh yes, sure, that's what I did, create them by hand

    @satabin
    ok super
    thanks for reporting
    and congratulations, you are the first person to use this room :)

    @ionos
    other than that, I has been smooth sailing with Sohva
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    don’t hesitate to tell me what is missing in the doc
    it is pretty new
    and probably far from comprehensive
    lunch break, I’ll be back in 30 minutes

    I was curious if it was possibly/sensible to have a view query mode with a stream as return type, which would stream rows as they are received from the DB? But that's just something that popped into my head when reading the API signatures, not sure if Couch support "streaming" results (which might be tricky if it only returns a list of json values, automatic deserialization wouldn't work then)
    bonne appetit
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    i’m back
    AFAIK there is no streaming of view results in CouchDB
    the only streaming interface I am aware of it the one to be notified of changes in the database

    @ionos
    I see, thanks for the info

    Hi again
    Please excuse my bluntness, but I was curious if there are already plans regarding moving to 2.12?
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    hi
    Actually I am waiting for some dependencies to be released for 2.12
    IIRC better-files is not published yet
    and last time I checked so akka-http neither
    Clemens Oertel
    @ionos
    akka-http just released 10.0.0
    akka-http-spray-json is no longer experimental
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    \o/
    so just missing better-files
    I will open file a ticket with the checklist
    -open
    Clemens Oertel
    @ionos
    great, thank you
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    I just published sohva 2.0.2-SNAPSHOT cross compiled for 2.11 and 2.12
    if you can test it and report any issue
    it would be great
    if no issue is raised I will release 2.0.2 this weekend
    Clemens Oertel
    @ionos
    will try to squeeze it in
    thanks!
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    no problem :)
    I forgot I dropped the dependency to better-files
    so it was not a problem to migrate to 2.12
    :)
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    I just released version 2.0.2 with Scala 2.12 support
    it’s on the sonatype repository and will be propagated to the maven central repository within a few hours
    Clemens Oertel
    @ionos
    great, thanks. I played around with it and did not experience any issues; I could not migrate our real project to 2.12 though, since some other libraries that we are using are not yet available for 2.12
    Lucas Satabin
    @satabin
    hi
    yes some libraries have difficulties to update to 2.12
    Lucas Satabin
