@mattias-lundell OK so should we do a 30min scala 1h ClojureScript meetup? Sounds good to me! Then in september we do a Dependent Type one @vlopezj ?

LinkedIn doesn't seem to allow links to updates, but I thought this might be interesting to the group:
Viktoria Stark, Talent Manager at HiQ Gothenburg: "Vi på HiQ Göteborg rivstartar efter sommaren och söker nu dig utvecklare som har det största intresse för funktionell programmering såsom Haskell, Erlang och ML. Om du känner dig träffad så tveka inte att höra av dig till mig. Här finns en härlig kultur där vi drivs av teknik och prestigelöshet. "

Translation is basically, HIQ is looking for people interested in functional programming like Haskell, Erlang and ML and are encouraged to contact Viktoria for more information.

HiQ is a typical Swedish "consultancy company" (that is they are technical contractors). Anyone contacting Viktoria will do well to keep that in mind.

HiQ has hosted Got.lambda a couple of times, so I think their interest is real
should be worth checking out!

Now, I know might sound a bit negative, but I don't doubt their interest is genuine, however that is no guarantee that one gets assignments doing FP.

Yeah, that's the only kind of FP assignments I've heard of since arriving in Gothenburg. Unfortunately they don't seem to be as common as I'd hoped :(
On the other hand me experience is from embedded systems, maybe things are much better in business systems and such...
