I've been using Spock lately, I'd recommend to give it a look at least. No particular complaints about it, but then I haven't written the most advanced server either...

I tried the askell on heroku example, which uses Servant, and it worked on heroku, but I got type error when using it locally. And I wanted to use stack instead of Halcyon (because I've used stack before but not Halcyon) but I didn't get it working locally. So I'll try from scratch with Spock and stack and the stack buildpack and hopefully there will be success. :-)

Do you happen to have anything on github that I can try out?
@jolod it's running at http://splicers.herokuapp.com/ (takes a while to spin up since I'm not paying for it)

Nice. Which buildpack do you use?

I think that deploy build times might decrease if you use the stack buildpack due to caching. No?

Before potentially wasting too much time, please note that I don't actually know what I'm talking about. :-)
