    Do we want to plow through consequences of merging OSGeo/grass#2544 now?

    image.pngHi! Is There a way to count numbers of lines intersecting nodes in a vector network? I would like to count the number of nodes with 0,1,3 or 4 intersection lines

    Hi Wolf!

    @susi
    Do you want to review my PRs (esp #2527 ) or should I just merge it?
    Vaclav Petras
    @wenzeslaus
    I'll try to review now...
    Wolf Bergenheim
    @susi
    Sweet :)
    I think I have a fix for tcsh too but I built it on top of #2527

    @susi
    What's our stance on adding python dependencies? I'm thinking if we would use click or typer, it would make it easier to build grass.py into subcommands
    Vaclav Petras
    @wenzeslaus
    Optional dependencies are always easier than mandatory ones. Related to that, is there a package for the terminal colors? There is termcolor which is already an optional decency, but I guess that's not directly usable for coloring the shells, only our own outputs.
    Wolf Bergenheim
    @susi
    Yeah I looked at termcolor and I don't think it would add a lot to what we now have
    meaning to the Color helper class I created

    @cwhite911 Refused to apply style from 'http://localhost:1313/plugins/fontawesome/css/font-awesome.min.css' because its MIME type ('text/plain') is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.

    Wolf Bergenheim
    @susi
    @neteler Do we have a consensus on project/mapset naming yet? I asking because now would be a good time to set it in place and have the new unified prompt also reflect and communicate this to the user. (see my image above)
    Markus Neteler
    @neteler
    I think we do - pls see the wiki page above (location -> project | mapset -> subproject, etc)

    @wenzeslaus as discussed yesterday, here the list of PRs with merge conflicts which require the command line procedure:

    OSGeo/grass#935
    OSGeo/grass#803
    OSGeo/grass#2534
    OSGeo/grass#2519
    OSGeo/grass#2232
    OSGeo/grass#2166
    OSGeo/grass#2165
    OSGeo/grass#1507
    OSGeo/grass#1392
    OSGeo/grass#1245

    It would be great if you could apply your "conflict cleanup" procedure to these PRs. Thanks!

    Wolf Bergenheim
    @susi

    @neteler I did, but was looking at the wrong place. I propose that while I'm working on the prompt itself, I'll also update it to show the full path to the project in use, or do we want to just show the last 2 directories of the full project path (corresponding to location/mapset)?

    Also I think that a 2-line prompt will make it easier to read and less prone to confusing the project with CWD for the user, especially people not really used to the CLI. There will be resistance from some users (some people feel very attached to their prompt for some reason), but I feel that a 2-line prompt will make it easier for new users to see what's going on and old users will eventually get used to the prompt. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter, esp as you originated the whole thing :)

    For the record, I have resolved all indentation-related conflicts in the open PRs linked above.
